Melissa & Christian's Wedding

I think our rain dance worked on Melissa and Christian's wedding day - when the ceremony started, the rain stopped, and we had the perfect amount of time to capture gorgeous images around the golf course grounds before it started back up again! The hot pink flowers of the bridesmaid bouquets popped against the foggy background of their outdoor patio ceremony, and the smiles on Melissa and Christian's faces lit up the space with love and celebration.
Christian's three year old son, Gianni, played an important role of the best man - and he was amazing! He posed for photos in his Batman shoes and held Polaroid photos that he took with Erica's handy camera to keep him occupied during the formal photos.
Melissa and Christian are meant for each other, and I'm so glad we was able to be part of their perfect day to capture the love and laughter they bring to each other. There were so many times throughout the day that I had to crack up laughing - whether it was their "awkward mustache" poses that they did or their disguises during the reception, and especially when they turned to the camera during their first dance with their tongues sticking out!
Melissa and Christian - thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to photograph your wedding day. Thanks for being willing to escape your reception for a few minutes to get our "money shot" on the patio, and thanks for making my last wedding of 2013 one to remember! Thank you also to Erica and Candy for being amazing second photographers and assistants, and thank you to Dan at Piney Branch for making the day run perfectly!

Congratulations lovebirds!!! I hope you had an amazing time in Jamaica and I can't wait for you to see the rest of the images!

Sara & Ryan's Wedding

I don't think I've ever seen a more detailed and well planned wedding than Sara & Ryan's. Their teal and orange color palette played throughout the day along with Sara's love of butterflies and Ryan's love of golf - their day celebrated them perfectly! I had the pleasure to work with my good friend Erica for this wedding, and we had an amazing time capturing all of the fun decorations and personal touches they put on everything. Because Sara had graciously built time into her wedding day schedule, we even had the opportunity to photograph the bridal party at a miniature golf course on our way to the reception venue! Mulligan MacDuffer Adventure Golf was so kind to let us use their course as the backdrop of their bridal portraits. I think it made the day even more perfect and really gave everyone a chance to let their hair down and have some fun. Sara & Ryan even had time to play a few holes! And to end the night, the staff at the Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg, PA was exceptional, and they made our night so wonderful with their helpful staff and beautiful venue!

Sara and Ryan - congratulations!!! I hope you are having an amazing time in Antigua and I can't wait for you to see your wedding day replayed through our images! I'm so happy for you two! Thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer!
