Katie & Tyler's wedding took place at Newton White Mansion this past Saturday. They both looked so happy when I first saw them as they arrived at the mansion. Katie was beaming from ear to ear with her girls! Their ceremony was beautiful in the evening & everyone seemed to have a blast partying during the reception.
This is one of my favorites from the day. It was so hard to choose which ones to blog! I'll be posting more images tomorrow on flickr!

First Wedding of 2009 Quickly Approaching!

I've been gearing up for my first wedding of 2009...This Saturday evening, Katie & Tyler will marry at Newton White Mansion in Mitchellville, MD. I met up with Katie at the mansion a few weeks ago to see the site and get some ideas for where the best portrait backgrounds would be.
I'm looking forward to getting some dramatic night photos for this one; their ceremony is at 7:15pm, so it will be pitch black outside, but with the help of some flood lights they're bringing in, I think we'll be able to create some spectacular images!
Can't wait to blog my first 2009 wedding!!!

2009 in South Carolina

Matt & I celebrated the New Year in Columbia, South Carolina, where some of our best friends, Brian & Bridget, bought a house this past summer, and we finally got a chance to travel to visit them. We went to Charleston one day for a tour of the city and the last photo is of the group of us in Congragee National Park in the swamp forest.

It was the perfect way to start the new year, surrounded by friends!!! :)
