Gayle & Ron's Wedding

Gayle & Ron are one of those couples - the minute you meet them, you know they have something special. Their wedding day was special - their cute glances and whispers to each other during the ceremony, the cake smashing during their reception, their twirls and bows during their first dance - all made for such an amazing day with an even more amazing couple.

I walked into the hotel room to one of the calmest brides. Gayle had everything organized and laid out for photos and packed for her big day - her personalized hot pink heels, her monogrammed tote bag, her grandmother's heirloom ring. She was the epitome of a blushing bride - she couldn't stop smiling all day!

My good friend, Alex, headed to Ron's house to capture him and his guys getting ready and capture the chaos - a house full of guys trying to figure out how to attach cuff links and tie patent leather shoes!

Their bridal party had personality and spunk that kept me on my toes all day. They were all so much fun and great sports to pose for photos around the country club and run for water to keep the bride and groom hydrated!

Gayle and Ron - thanks for starting out my wedding season with a day that I'll never forget!

The Perfect Christmas Gift - Baby Callie!

Last weekend, Matt and I spent some time visiting with friend who just had the best Christmas present - a beautiful , healthy, baby girl named Callie!
Callie was so precious-especially when we put her in the Christmas stocking! And I love the images with her big blue flower headband - I think it really brings out the blue in her eyes.
I learned a lot with photographing a newborn - Even though she was not a fan of changing outfits so many times, she liked to be swaddled in the blanket and she quieted down again after just a few minutes of being in and out of different dresses for us to get some adorable images!
I hope to get the opportunity to take some more images of Callie as she grows up - she was just too much fun!

Steve's Executive Portraits

One of my former wedding clients contacted me again this year for updated business portraits for his upcoming magazine creation. I was so happy to work with him again, and really excited for the images that I made at Antrim in Taneytown, MD. Steve is the publisher of "The Beverage Journal, Inc." and it was only fitting that we took photos in the wine cellar to go along with the theme. Antrim was a perfect location, and the staff was so helpful to us while we were working.
It's always wonderful to work with clients multiple times, and I'm so happy Steve contacted me again for some new images.

Kyle's Senior Portraits

Despite one of the coldest and windiest days of the year, Kyle rocked his senior portrait session! In 2010, I photographed his sister, Kelsey's senior portraits on their family farm, and this time, it was Kyle's turn to show off his personality and hobbies - I think he had the most fun at the end when we got out his hunting gear & razor four wheeler! He picked out the perfect outfits, and I was so happy to photograph another sibling in a wonderful family. Kyle - I hope you had fun! And thanks again for letting me capture this fun time in your high school experience!
