Caffeine

Today is one of those days...and I need a lot of coffee. It's a beautiful day, and I'm busy at work today, but hoping to get a lot of editing done in between working tomorrow and trying to spend a little time outside enjoying the weather.
So glad it's finally beginning to actually feel like spring!

Keeley & Tim

I spent another beautiful day outside enjoying the sunshine, warm weather, and good friends yesterday. Matt & I met up with Keeley & Tim to take a look at their venues for their wedding, and we took some engagement photos while we were visiting. This one photo really caught my eye when I was archiving my files. I'll be posting more of both engagement sessions later this week after I have a chance to edit all of the photos!

Beautiful Day in Annapolis with Monica & Jake

Monica, Jake, and I spent the morning at the Naval Academy in Annapolis taking their engagement photos. Not only was the weather beautiful and perfect for photos, I worked with great models today. We treked all around the academy looking for the best spots to take photos, and I they are going to be really happy with all of the variety of shots we got.

Easter 2009

Lots of my favorite things yesterday...family, my pet - Spitfire, my wonderful husband, and lots & lots of CANDY!!! My mom ALWAYS goes overboard with the Easter candy, and this year was no exception!!! I'm very proud of the Peep centerpiece that Colleen & I assembled. Can you believe they make Peeps in that many colors!?! Anyway, it was a great weekend..so good that I can't wait til this coming weekend! I have a busy week, and then on Saturday, Monica & Jake's engagement photos in Annapolis, and a meeting with Tim & Keeley to detail their wedding photos on Sunday!

Meet the Beautiful Kimberly!

Last night, I took photos of such a beautiful dancer, Kimmy, for her agency in New York. She came with her hair and make-up done perfectly, and had the best colors of tops to use for her photos. We walked around the streets & alleys behind my house and found the best backgrounds to compliment her hair, eyes, and outfits.

I'm SO happy with the way the photos turned out...and although it was incredibly hard to pick just a few, these are my very favorite shots of the night!

Snaps with the 50mm

First of all, how about them O's?!? Matt & I watched the game as I yelled at the TV screen for them to run faster...I knew they couldn't hear me, but I still yelled! We can't wait to get to more games this year, since we're so close to the stadium.

I was getting my camera equipment ready for some headshots I'm taking tomorrow, and I got out my 50mm lenes again. I forgot how much I love using it...I love how the photos fall out of focus...This is my favorite lens to use for brides and females, because I think it is so beautiful and soft. I'm looking forward to blogging some of the shots I take tomorrow, but these are just a few snapshots from around our house, along with my "mini gallery" in our upstairs hallway that has all of my college framed photos from shows!
