My husband & I had the best time visiting with great friends this past weekend in New Jersey. Mike & Kelly are getting married in June, and Matt is one of the groomsmen in their wedding. Mike & Matt were roomates in college, and it was great to be able to spend the weekend with them touring their beautiful home they've started for themselves, get to meet their adorable cat, and check out the sites around the area. If you ever need custom furniture, Mike is the one to contact. He has made the most breath-taking pieces of furniture that grace the inside of their home together, as well as many other families homes. He has somehow convinced Kelly to transform their two car garage into a workshop for his talented woodworking skills :) And Kelly is quite handy herself, as she has wallpapered their dining room, and made the absolute best crumb cake & homemade granola I've ever tasted!
Mike & Kelly were hoping to use one of the photos I snapped this past weekend as the guest book signing mat at their wedding, and I'm honored that they asked me to capture their last few months as an engaged couple together. After all, they were the ones who caught the bouquet & garter at our wedding! We really can't wait to celebrate with them!
